  • A place where we learn

Our school is located on 'green belt' land on the edge of Hampton. We have ample grounds of our own, and they are surrounded by other green spaces, near the Thames. Our environment (indoor and outdoor) has been refurbished to support high quality teaching and learning. The latest technology has been installed to enrich our curriculum which emphases English and Maths.

  • A family where we belong

St Mary's is a one class entry school . There is one headteacher, one site, one uniform... all through a child's primary years. But its not just about size - its about an attitude. With our 'family feel', children and staff know and respect each other. Teachers eat with the children. Everyone is welcomed and valued.

  • A space where we grow

Children change and grow in all kinds of way from 4 to 11 years. St Mary's aims for them  to grow into contented, joyful and confident young people. We will be developing a special emphasis on Art and Music.

Our Collective Worship will be another opportunity to explore and reflect on the deeper things of life.

  • Together...

The school is a community; adults and children. More than learning together, we live together - sharing the ups and downs of life.St Mary's School is a community in a wider community and we feel our Hampton connection is something to be proud of. From the school’s inception the St Mary’s team has engaged with local parents, and listened to their needs. We look forward to helping the children at St Mary’s School become useful, proud and respected citizens of Hampton and Richmond upon Thames. Read More
  • ...with Jesus by our side

As a Church of England School we are serving our community by offering a distinctive approach to education. Our Christian ethos guides everything from behaviour policy to attitudes to life and learning. An important part of the school day is Collective Worship. We encourage children of families with a different faith (or none); other religions are respected and explored in Religious Education.

We gain from our links with other church schools in the Diocese of London.
